Department Overview
The Power Electronics and Power systems at post graduate level is a combination of Power Electronics, Power systems and Drives that conducts research and education in a broad range of activities.
An important aspect of the programme is the integration of power electronics with the study of power systems to the development of the country’s electric power infrastructure.
The Power Electronics and Power Systems area conducts research in the fields of electrical power systems, power electronics systems, Power Management Microsystems and Power Semiconductor Devices, including expertise in very high voltage and current, novel magnetic design and power systems.
